Dog Lake is a great little hike up into the mountains of Kootenay National Park near Radium Hot Springs, BC. My boys and I hiked this one a couple of summers ago and we found this small boggy green lake at the top of the trail. We had a fun time finding snails and skipping rocks (and not so much – swatting the massive flies away).
