The Hay Days of Fall in Alberta

Every fall in the foothills of our Rocky Mountains, combines can be seen for miles slowly rolling over the hills baling hay.  If you’re driving a country road or even a highway around Calgary it’s impossible to miss the big round bales. They are scattered in farm fields in all directions, for as far as the eye can see. I know it’s just big piles of hay, but along with the mountains, the rolling hillsides and a big blue Alberta sky it sure makes for one beautiful landscape. Captured this beauty shot near Bragg Creek, Alberta.
