Oh, what I wouldn’t give to go for a night time skate at Olympic Plaza right now. Or really doing anything, anywhere for that matter! I have held off sharing this painting since February because it was supposed to go in an art exhibit called Calgary Story at the Downtown Calgary Library in May. Well, thanks to Co-vid 19 and self isolating that won’t be happening. Of course it makes me a little sad but now I get to share this painting finally! I love the calmness of the night time lighting and my three little skaters in this painting. I really enjoyed trying something new and painting architecture over a natural landscape. I’m hoping to try some more buildings in the near future! Take care!
