This year my paintings were accepted into the Calgary Stampede’s Western Oasis Art Gallery. My 7 western themed paintings were on display in the Mini Masterpiece Salon. It was pretty darn cool dropping off my work at the BMO Centre at the Stampede Grounds and getting a behind the scenes look at all the amazing artwork and artists that I admire so much. It was even more exciting to see my name and artwork up on display. Pretty darn surreal! As a native Calgarian, I love the Stampede and all it stands for – especially the community part of it!
